Create AR Emoji on Samsung Galaxy S9

Create AR Emoji – Samsung has just announced its newest phones, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, in Barcelona. The Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch screen and runs Android Oreo operating system. The phone has fingerprint sensor below the camera and will be released on March 16th staring at $720. The Galaxy S9 pre orders will be available on March 2nd.

One of the new exiting features on the Galaxy S9 is Samsung’s AR Emoji. It offers some avatars and Disney characters to compete with Apple’s Animoji. The AR emoji takes advantage of the Galaxy S9’s on-board face scanning technology. The emoji corresponds to the user’s facial movements, allowing them to send animated messages or use cartoon character for karaoke and more.

You can use the Galaxy S9 to turn your selfie into an AR emoji and you will see your messaging come alive. Of course you can create your own animated avatar and personalize it. Though some some movements and expressions may not be recognized, but it will be fun to have your own moving avatar on your messages.

To personalize your emoji, you can freely choose your own hair, glasses, clothes, and more. You can then put your emotion in motion and record videos with your emoji. You can talk, sing, or do anything you want and share it with your friends. Here’s how to create your own AR Emoji.

The great thing about Samsung’s AR emoji is that it offers some default cartoon options that’s a bit more anthropomorphic than those on the iPhone X. Samsung also announced its partnership with Disney and bring disney’s cartoon characters like Mickey, Minnie and the Pixar’s Incredibles, to its AR emoji. Curious about Samsung’s AR emoji?
