Samsung has just unveiled the octa-core Exynos 9810, the company’s next-gen Exynos chip at CES 2018. This chip is expected to power up the Galaxy S9 / Plus and the Galaxy Note 9. The chip will let Samsung copy the iPhone X.
The new octa-core Exynos 9810 will have up to 2.9 GHz speeds. The company claims that single performance will double, while multi-core performance is increased by around 40% compared to the Galaxy S8 chip.
Samsung Galaxy S9 with the octa-core Exynos 9810 chip will surely be a much faster smartphone than the current flagship phone, the Galaxy S8. The phone will also feature ultra-fast LTE speeds, thanks to a 1.2Gbps LTE modem embedded in the chip. The phone will also have 6x carrier aggregation, making it more and more faster.
